Support
Please read the Features section for information on how to use Pocket Gnome. Also, the forums are often a good source of information.
If you need some sort of assistance beyond that, please email us: pocketgnome at this domain (savorydeviate.com).
Common Issues
Pocket Gnome makes a few assumptions about how your copy of Warcraft is set up. While we have tried to remain as flexible as possible, there are always a few things that we must expect in order to function properly.
Arrow Keys
Pocket Gnome expects your arrow keys to be bound to their respective movement equivalent. That means Left Arrow turns you to the left, and Right Arrow turns you to the right. Up Arrow moves forward, and Down moves back. If these keys are not bound, Pocket Gnome may have trouble moving around the game world.
Auto Loot Corpse
In order to loot bodies, Auto Loot must be enabled -- you can do this from the Interface options in WoW. Pocket Gnome will only right click a body; it expects the game to actually loot all of the items.
Auto Self Cast
If you want to use Behaviors to cast spells on your character, you must have Auto Self Cast enabled. This allows WoW to properly cast spells on the correct target (eg, a Heal on your character, not the mob you are attacking).
Jumping = Spacebar
If you want your character to jump while you patrol, the Spacebar must be the button bound to jump.
Return key and Slash '/'
In the unfortunate situation where your character dies, Pocket Gnome must type the in-game commands to release your body ("/script RepopMe();") and accept your resurrect ("/script RetrieveCorpse();").
This requires that your Return key be bound to the "Open Chat" function, and that your slash key '/' bound to the function "Open Chat Slash" -- both of these options are found under the heading "Chat Functions" in your standard Key Bindings window.
Other Issues
Target Doesn't Appear
Pocket Gnome sets your player's target internally, and this target will often not appear on the standard user interface. This is normally not a problem, but certain abilities require your target be set "manually" -- if you are experiencing targetting issues, please add the following macro to your "Combat" behavior.
/cleartarget
/targetlasttarget
Looting + Skinning
If you do not set Pocket Gnome to loot bodies, it will also not even bother trying to skin them. These two options go hand in hand (duh).
